Support Benefits Families of Wounded Patients at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center

Bethesda, MD—May 7, 2012—DMI (DMInc.com), a leading IT solutions and business strategy consulting firm, announced today that it is joining the Fisher House in its mission of serving the families of wounded servicemen and women being treated at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

DMI’s support of the Fisher House includes providing and serving monthly lunches, donating needed “wish list” items of housewares and consumables, and providing regular onsite IT help desk and network support services. On the first Wednesday of every month, DMI’s team of volunteers will serve lunch and spend time visiting with Fisher House residents. The volunteer team will also provide IT assistance to residents and address IT infrastructure needs of the Fisher House.

“Supporting our nation’s heroes and their families through the Fisher House is an opportunity that our team has fully embraced,” said Sunny Bajaj, DMI’s President and CEO. “Many of our colleagues have served in the military, and we maintain close ties to the military community through our program support of mission-critical initiatives.”

The Fisher House Foundation maintains homes built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers that enable family members to be close to loved ones during hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury. Members of the military must often travel great distances for specialized medical care, which adds complicated and expensive logistics onto an already stressful time for patients and their families. In 2011, the Fisher House program (www.fisherhouse.org) served 17,000 families and saved them more than $25 million in lodging, food and transportation costs.

April 25, 2012—Bethesda, MD—DMI, a leading IT solutions and business strategy consulting firm, today announced that it has been named one of Top 50 Best Places to Work in Greater Washington for 2012 by the Washington Business Journal. The ranking is based on a quantitative survey of employees conducted by Quantum Workplace, an employer rating agency that surveys employee engagement, loyalty and retention.

The Best Places to Work™ contest began in 2004 with the intention of recognizing and honoring companies that understand the value of their human assets. Almost two million surveys and 42 cities later, the Best Places to Work competition remains strong in its goal of encouraging companies to assess their employees’ level of engagement and offer ways to improve their retention rates. Results of the competition are based solely on the voice of employees and on the data collected.

“We’re a service business--that’s why I and our senior leadership are so focused on the fact that our employees are our greatest asset,” said Jay Sunny Bajaj, DMI’s President and CEO. “Winning a place among the Best Places to Work in the Washington DC area means so much to us, because it’s a validation of the hard work we do to make DMI a place where individuals can grow, thrive, and achieve their personal and professional dreams while delivering a level of service to our clients that’s essential to their success.”

DMI’s focus on hiring and retaining the best talent, and the company’s commitment to pervasive excellence in delivery of the latest technology solutions has enabled the company to achieve remarkable growth in the past five years. Now with more than 125 active client engagements in 14 of the 15 executive departments of the Federal Government, and dozens of commercial clients, DMI foresees more growth ahead--especially in the areas of enterprise mobility and cybersecurity solutions.

The Washington Business Journal, along with title sponsor Cigna Healthcare and other sponsors, WTOP Radio and Quantum Workplace, will announce the rankings of the winners at a breakfast awards program on Friday, June 1 at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner at 8:00 a.m. Questions concerning the event can be directed to Whitney Suntum at 703-258-0854 or wbjevents@bizjournals.com.

CMMI Level 3 and ISO Certifications Key to Win of DMI’s Fourth Prime Contract with HHS in the Last 18 Months

April 9, 2012—BETHESDA, MD—DMI, a leading IT solutions and business strategy consulting firm, today announced that it has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract to modernize and maintain the suite of enterprise applications used by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG). This is DMI’s fourth prime contract with HHS in the last 18 months.

The contract encompasses a broad range of service areas to support the HHS Software Development Branch’s (SDB) vision to design and implement information systems and maintain existing technologies in support of the operations of the OIG. DMI will provide support services for maintenance and enhancement of existing OIG systems, development of new modules and applications, and modernization of existing technologies. The scope of work includes development, maintenance, programming, modernization and database administration services for all OIG applications, many of which are based on Microsoft technologies.

“DMI is one of a select few IT services vendors that have achieved SEI CMMI-DEV Level 3 certification and multiple ISO certifications,” said Sunny Bajaj, president and CEO of DMI. “These are a testament to our superior development framework, processes and methodologies. Combining this with our expertise in Microsoft technologies ensures that we will deliver the highest value solutions to HHS.”

Under the contract, DMI will focus on:

 Software Maintenance and Enhancements

 New Software Development

 Code Refactoring

 IT Project Management

 Centralized Database Administration

 COTS Product Support

 Data Management

 Process Improvement

In the past year and a half, DMI has won three other prime contracts with HHS, which deepen the company’s long-standing relationship with the agency. The contracts include:

Providing management services for HHS’s Payment Management System (PMS), which supports more than 450 Federal government organizations and 50,000+ users worldwide who process more than $410 billion annually in Federal grant funds for 30,000+ grant recipients.

Operating and managing Grants.gov, HHS’s mission-critical web application that annually processes more than 300,000 grant applications for all 26 Federal grant-making agencies.

Operating and providing maintenance support for the HHS Accounting For Pay System (AFPS) which tracks personnel costs for disbursements, expenditures, obligations and accruals. Begun in 2004, and recently re-competed, this is DMI’s longest running contract.

Key to this win is the fact that DMI holds an ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality management systems; ISO 20000-1:2005 for managed service delivery; and ISO 27001:2005 for information security management systems. DMI is also a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner—status the company has achieved by demonstrating its superior expertise with Microsoft technologies and proving its ability to meet customers' needs.
