DMI’s support of the Fisher House includes providing and serving monthly lunches, donating needed “wish list” items of housewares and consumables, and providing regular onsite IT help desk and network support services. On the first Wednesday of every month, DMI’s team of volunteers will serve lunch and spend time visiting with Fisher House residents. The volunteer team will also provide IT assistance to residents and address IT infrastructure needs of the Fisher House.

In 2011, the Fisher House program (www.fisherhouse.org) served 17,000 families and saved them more than $25 million in lodging, food and transportation costs.

The contract encompasses a broad range of service areas to support the HHS Software Development Branch’s (SDB) vision to design and implement information systems and maintain existing technologies in support of the operations of the OIG.
